PORT douglas COMES TO LIFE DURING CARNIVALE
Carnivale is our favourite time of year in Port Douglas. There’s more music, parades, food and fun then you can imagine.
PDU has been doing Carnivale for many years now and while we can’t remember every night (those damn cocktails!) we never miss it.
You’ll quickly see why this is one of the most popular week’s in Port Douglas. From the live music, street parades, long lunches, family beach days, seafood extravaganzas, amusement park, rides, street performers, food stalls and so much more, we are pumped for Carnivale in 2018 (May 25th - 27th). Oh and we can’t forget the fireworks!
There’s something on offer for everyone & it's a magic time to be in Port Douglas
This year we are going to ROCK, literally, with Ross Wilson (Daddy Cool/Mondo Rock) hitting the stage for the Tropic Rock Concert on Sat 26th at Rex Smeal Park. “Come,” said the boy…“Oh we are coming, Daddy Cool!”
The Spiegeltent is also back, better than ever. Arriving on May 18th with spectacular shows including Rouge, Circus Wonderland, Akmal Saleh and a late night Burlesque show across the Carnivale period.
